Admins are automatically becoming into the root group!?

Hi, Forumotion!

So, i have this problem - when i promote a member to an admin level from the "Security" section in their profiles, he is automatically added into the Root group. How do i prevent this happen?

Of course when you promote someone and place him to the main administration group, he will have access to the admin panel but not on all the areas a founder can only access like credits management etc.

Thanks for the fast respond ... however, my problem is, that i don't want them to be in the root admin's group. And they add themeselfs automatically, after i give them permissions, by changing their member level to "admin". They don't go into the group by their own means, because i've created a test account, and I tried to give it permissions, and it's changing into the root's group afterwards. It just happens....somehow.

Ok, so what you're saying is when you put a particular member to a group or mod group I assume they get move to the admin group and then they get access to the admin panel?
