A way to make parts of birthdays show

Is there a way to make it so you can show your birthday, but not your age or something? Or just your age, and not your birthday? Some people on my forum don't want their age showing, but I made birthdays a registration field and I don't want to remove it. So yeah, is this possible?

Administration Panel > Users & Useregroups > Users > Profiles
Uncheck the boxes for profile and messages in the birthday and age fields.
Display : [] Profile [] Messages

But what if some members want their age in their posts, and some don't?

Sorry, I don't know. But they could always lie about the year.

But then in their posts it would show that they were a certain age
I'd rather not encourage people to lie xP

I hope that showing only the birthday is possible, I know you can do it on vBulliton, but idk about forumotion

If it isn't a required profile post they could enter nothing in the year which I did on another forum . Sorry, I agree with you that it is best not to encourage people to lie.

Just go to administration panel > users & usergroups > users > profiles
Modify the age field diplay to not show in profiles and messages.

I know, and I did do that
But some members do want their age showing
Is it just an all or nothing deal?
