My Friend gave me forum cuz he's not using it anymore,he gave me it for gaming but im not using it anymore cuz its hacked,i want it deleted.Actually i know who hacked it,and i want to report him,but now i will start a new forum after this is deleted thanks.

Do you have access to the email? We can send a new password to that email address. You can login into the forum using that email address & using your friends account.

The emai i sent you is for my friend,its the founder's email address and i can't access it,if you can send me new password on my email

Hello !

What do you mean by he "gave you the forum" ? If you don't have access to the founder's account, so you're not the founder.

Only the founder of a forum can delete it. So please ask to your friend to remove it from the Admin Panel.

Hey!

I need help with the similar story - I created a forum almost 5 years ago and would like to delete it. Obviously I do not remember the password and I cannot send any reminder due to security restrictions.

Hello,

If you lost your founder password, you can request for a new one by following the guidelines provided here:
https://help.forumotion.com/t93821-lost-founder-s-password

You also need 2 posts to send PM's.

Please don't bump old topics too, you need to create your own thread.

Thank you for your answer. 2 posts is exactly what I needed - I find it a bit uncomfy to write "random" posts just to recover password in order to delete my old forum.
