So how do we check how much memory we have left on our host's server before we exceed our free space? Or are we ok as long as we don't exceed these parameters, is that how it's set up?

Go to Administration Panel => Misc => Storage => Management.

OK, so under "storage" it says that I have 20 mb free space. Out of how many? Where does it say how much memory is used?

What exactly do you mean by memory?

I believe that he means that the amount of storage he still has left on his forum for images.

I mean how do we know how much room we have left on our host's server before we exceed our free space AND how much we have used up?

OK, it is the op that is confusing everyone. We have a free forum and it is limited in the amount of storage space it has. Nucky is the owner of record so only he has access to how much space we have used up for our board in general.
How does he access that?

Yep, Mel has it right.
So how do I find out what our total space is and how much of it we have used?

Anyone? We really do need to know this as our board is now a few years old and getting larger.

Hello,
As far as I know, there's no page on the admin panel to see how much memory has been used, however, it can be seen on:
Admin Panel > Misc > Summary > Storage
You can see there how much space can still be used, so I believe that's the only to know.

I have checked that part of the admin panel before, and it has always said exactly 20mb.

Hello,
This only applies for memory left on your gallery, if you upload pictures on your gallery, it will drop down naturally.
Admin Panel > Home > Summary
same with
Admin Panel > Misc > Summary
I don't have any idea about servimg pics you've mentioned, when you upload pics on servimg, no memory on your forum is affected.

Thank you, I think I see now. So as long as we don't exceed the limits here
https://help.forumotion.com/t1709-some-limits-of-forumotion-forum
we are ok and will not go over on anything?

Yes. There's nothing to worry, when the storage space has run out, you can still purchase for storage by using credits.
