Permissions Problem

I am trying to set up a forums for a Battlefield clan. I have set up 2 areas, one for the general public and one for clan members. I don't want people to be able to simply register on the forums to gain access to the clan members area. Is there a way to create a default group of registered users that only has access to the general public area and then have another Clan Members group that will have access to the entire forums?

P.S. Cant get any check boxes to appear when modifying group permissions.

You can create a Group & edit the CLANS' forum's permission, don't let members view or reply to it. Just the group you created.

Create a new group called members with the autosubscribe feature of minimum number of posts. Then you can set the permissions accordingly.
