first of all, all i know marking your message with colors are only for moderation. you can quote it instead.

about your query, if you study their site, it is not in their portal. they have created a flash introduction before you can access to their forum.

their opening page is made out of flash and scripting. better study about flash.

i suggest you create a web page from where you will put your flash introduction page. if you do that, i highly suggest to introduce/promote again your forum together with that introduction page.

if you want to put that into your portal, you need to configure your portal... the width of it.
create a block for that flash introduction page and place it in the Header removing other blocks.

to take note, you cannot remove advertisement and your logo.

You cannot remove the navigation bar either

To make your portal look like that, you have to go to :

Admin Pannel > Portal Structure

* remove all the blocks
* create a new block (put it in the colon 2)
* put you html code (the one for the flash intro) in the block

Then, go to :
Admin Pannel > Configuration

Width colon 1 (left) : 0
Width colon 2 (midle) : 100
Width colon 3 (right) : 0
