Creating a group for banned/frozen users

Hi I have in the past created a group for banned and frozen users. but I have forgotten how to do it.

So anyway I was thinking of creating a group for banned/frozen members. The idea behind this group is that we are a fair forum and allow bans or suspensions to be appealed.

So we want to create a group where banned members and suspended members can post in. It will be just like one forum and the rest of the forums are hidden and they can only post in that one thread and not be able to send pm's at all.

Is this possible, I am almost sure it is.

Could someone give me advice/instructions on how to do this.

Ban members will not be able to log in to the forum to post, unless you allow guests to post in a certain forum.

Sorry I never quite meant completely banned people, more just like frozen members,

Once a member is banned, he/she won't be able to access the forum nor post. Also, we don't have the option to 'freeze' the members, the only thing you can do is create a forum for guests and set the permissions where they can post to that forum.
