Cannot restore my forum

Helllo

I tried to restore my forum at earlier date, but nothing happens.
I have my email and creator password but every time i pick the right option for backup type and date after submit the thing redirect me to the same window again, which is to enter my email and password again, instead to redirect me to my forum link as it is described in step 5. from this tutorial https://help.forumotion.com/t9692-the-utilities-backup-and-restore

Step 5

Once you have chosen your date and time, click submit and wait. A new page will come up telling you the modifications have been done (the restore) and has a link back to your forum. Click the link and make sure your restoration has been done.

Actually nothing happens.

*I tried with wrong password just to check does the software recognize wrong entry or not,and i got the Red message, which tells me that my password is ok

Or did you try other browsers such as Firefox & Google Chrome?

I've tried with Opera, Firefox and Google Chrome and still nothing.Of course that first thing was to clear my cache, however i am founder at my forum but my friend created forum for me as it is now.Any chance that restore option is blocked/disabled somewhere in admin panel?

I am running out of solution...

There isn't an option to disable this on your ACP, it might be a browser issue or connection issue on your side.

So is it just logging you out when you click submit and not on:

A new page will come up telling you the modifications have been done (the restore) and has a link back to your forum. Click the link and make sure your restoration has been done.

Can you please send me your forum link & creation e-mail so I can request the backup to our administrator? (make sure to include the date to when you want it to be reverted back).

Yes, it logging me out after i click at submit, actually it redirect me again to the log in page.

Everything is the same as it was before "restore". I can't do anything again, i mean i cannot restore my forum.
By the way, it was one wrong link in my CSS Stylesheet which i tried to restore.I copied wrong link by mistake and now part of my forum still missing, no matter u do restore.

Theme restore cannot change this?
Full restore will do?Are you sure? If so, we can go for it!

Hello again, what do you mean when you say nothing happens? Does it redirects you back to the log in page or still nothings happens when the back up was performed successfully?

When i said this, i mean nothing happens, nothing new at least...i am redirected to the log in page in the same way as it was described in my posts above.
I've tried to resynchronize my forum, but nothing happens again, at least nothing from my pow.

You are free to try to do full back up from 20. 05. 2012 (if possible pls keep safe few posts and one registration from 23. 05 2012 in the meantime)

i can give to forumotion stuff my password if this is needed, u already have my creation email.

I made a backup from the 22.05.2012 and it worked again.

Is this OK for you ? I can't go further than the 22.05.2012 because the previous backup was on April...

I can see some changes but not the needed one.
Question is, is it possible to restore all data or not.I am not sure this restore will affect my CSS style.

Ty again, but real question is why i cannot restore my forum.I appreciate ur help and this is a very first time i am trying to do restore in 1 and half year.
Any chance that we can figure out why restore is not possible for me?Why i can't do that alone?

Well, yes that's very weird that I'm able to restore your forum and you're not. Can you please provide a screenshot of the page or the error you get ?

If they were not correct, you would not be able to log in to the Utilities Tool.

Finally my forum is restored and i have everything in place, snake skin, background etc, few things still missing but i will be able to solve this by ma slf

Leeloo and i will continue via pm to try to solve my restore issue rights or whatever stops me to restore my own forum...
