Turn on the watch forum option on behalf of the users

Hi,
I must have a way so my forum users will get alerts on any new post on the various forum. There is such an option by clicking the "watch forum" link on any forum topic. However, my users doesn't know how to do it and many can't. How can I as admin turn on the "watch forum" option on behalf of users ? either as mass option or even go one by one and do it for them (less likely).

Can't really do that for all users.

Doesn't this automatically happen when you reply to the forum? For me anyway I registered to a forum, posted a reply and to this day I keep getting more and more 'You are watching this topic' emails from the forum.

Yes, it happens for only the threads they reply in.

He was asking for all the posts made on the forum, so i said its not possible.

I got an answer that its impossible to be done so unsolved but I guess the topic can be closed.
