Difference between forum address and Personalized domain name

Hi

What is the difference between "Forum Address" and "Personalized Domain name". (ACP/General/Forum Address)

I want to change the forum address with is "kindlerscrafting.englishboard.net" this is the original address that I first set the forum up with, all I want to do is change the first bit "kindlerscrafting" to something else.

Do I need credits to change the first bit and if I change it will members automatically be redirected to the new address.

I do not want to purchase a new domain name, just chage the begining of the one I already have using the "Forum Address option".

kindlerscrafting.com That would be a Personalized domain name, if brought via spending credits.

Forum address can be changed anytime for free.

Thank you Sanket, but I was also asking if I change the Forum Address in the way we said above will members automatically be re-directed to the forum or will they all need to be informed of the change.

if i spend my coints into domain,is it possible to change the settings the admin panel?and the copyright? also the ads can remove?if i change the domain?

Thanks Slg yes it is solved, however the link you supplied is incorrect in its info. The forum address was changed this morning and people do automatically get redirected. It say in your link that Avatars will disappear for a few days but that doesnt happen everthing is all still there. Maybe that information is for when you pay to change the domain name and not the free forum address.
