Why does my forum revert from my personalized domain name?

Hello,

I recently purchased a personalized domain name and added it in my admin panel. After adding it I have twice now had it seemingly randomly revert to the standard forum address. I can find no cause for it anywhere. Could someone help me figure out what could be making my site do this?

Original address: gamerboards.darkbb.com
New domain: thegamerboards.com

Hello i think i can help you there.

If your host domain name is not hosted right or it is slow our forum address will take its place.

The problem is if you buy a domain name outside of our system we have no control over your domain so we can not fix this for you,

you will need to call up the host of the domain and ask them why your Domain is cutting out.

@SLGray No, I started using the new domain name on Friday the 13th.

@APE I can understand the forumotion domain jumping in if hosting is slow, but I'm talking about a complete change of settings in my admin panel. I have it set for a custom domain, but when it gives me the error I will go into the admin panel and find that it is disabled. Thoughts on that?

Right now i get you well this is strange as if its updated and saved it should not be removed again i can report this but as it now out of hours it will not get looked at until tomorrow.

Has there been any news on my issue?

Just wanted to bump this thread again, because my issue is not resolved. Anybody been able to look into this yet?

Hello sorry for the Delay on this problem.

I have made the report but right now its still showing as pending i will make a new post on the report and lets hope it gets a replay tomorrow.
