    Administration Panel > Modules > Blogs
    Activate it.

    Now you can add a blog section to your forum:
    Administration Panel > General > Forum > Categories & Forums
    Blogs should be in the drop-down list when you press the green X.

    Administration Panel > Display > Homepage > Headers & Navigation
    Press the Add Customized Button button.
