Who's Online list - forum location

Help for the Helper.

Is there somewhere to change or determine what is shown in the forum location of the who's online list?

For example, here I notice that mostly it will show who is viewing the index, viewing the portal, searching, or list a forum someone is viewing. But can't we make it so it shows if someone is posting to a particular thread, or pm'ing someone, or editing profile, etc.

I can't find anywhere to make any adjustments, is there?

As far as I know, you can't do that.
