multiple forums
Hi, I'm high school teacher and want to make forum for one school, but use it for creation other forums with same administration (mean same categories, same forums, same permisions), diferent domains, let say name1.forumotion.com and name2.forumotion.com but to not start from zerro when creating second forum.
So it will be diferent subdomains, same topics, diferent base
Reason for that is because I've found that you have one of the best forum hosting, and want to create same type of forums for different high schools. Number of the high schools may varry, but may be even 100!

Re: multiple forums
too difficult to duplicate your forum. instead, you really have to create multiple forum domains for each schools. and in each domains has its own members, (e.g., members of name1.forumotion.com is not or may not be a member of name2.forumotion.com).
your other query is to create different forum domains but same administration, forums and permission. i suggest you invite your whole administration to join the other forum domains you have had created.
however, if the high school you are talking about is the level only (e.g., first year high school, 2nd year high school, and so on and so forth), i suggest you just create a category/forum for each level in your main forum domain, that means, no need to duplicate your forum domain. and by setting the permission on who can view or write that section, this means, those who are permitted to view and write to it are the only one who can see it.
or, you can create a group/s for each category. thus:
Group1: hosted by the first year students.
(premission set to Group1 only)
Group1: hosted by the second year students.
(premission set to Group2 only)
