Forum Under Construction Trick

Well I was wondering if I take my forum off construction before it is revealed to the public then put it back on really quick will the day start over again?

Just a thought..hope it works..Can anybody confirm?

Well, i guess you can try it yourself & let us know. I think the construction thing would work for a day based on the Forum's time

By the way does it stay 24 hours?
Like lets say I put it on at 8am..will it reopen again at 8am the next day?
Or will it just open up later today at 12?

Ehhh the thing about this is that it only works sometimes..
I've been doing it for the past couple of days and it has went off construction earlier than expected and ruined some surprises. So yeah it's somewhat useable I suppose...

I'd prefer if you can choose when the site goes off construction or even have a longer period than one day. That would be great.

Did you notice the construction period whether it ended on 11:59 PM as according to the forum's timezone?

That works good and all but wouldn't it also stop working after the construction expires?
