Guest Permissions.. Plz help.

Hello guys, im trying to create a category and forum that only guests can see, forum description will contain info regarding the site with a register link etc. However the forum is seen by members, when i click the guest button on permissions it checks the members box aswell... Any help would be appreciated.

Please change the title of your topic, that is related to your question/issue, so that other users will be able to find their question/issue using the search engine.

If you allow it for guests, it will be allowed to view for all groups.

So are you saying that i cant have a category/forum thats only seen by guests? Id like it to encourage guests to join...

Yes, i am saying if Guests can see it other members will see it as well.

? Is there no way around that? :s its directed at guests.. A bit pointless for members to see it..
