Why do bots and spammers, scammers, fakes joined my friends forum? easy q

Like a year ago my friends created a forum about video games, and 2 years later lots of people joined, when i traced the emails and peoples usernames they all linked to TOP SPAMMERS OF THE INTERNET a website or a bulletin to recognize fake emails or spammers, i forgot the websites name though.


So how come like 50 of them were bots and with fake emails and long emails?

like 8e48d48e48d484d8d48d48d484@yahoo.com for example.

It is because they get the chance to do something like this and they feel like they can and they take the chance. Just ban their IP's and you won't have to worry about them.
