Solved Adverisment links to dangerous site!

Post by Colt September 28th 2012, 4:48 pm

Why does fourmotion keep using advertisement that has links to unsafe sites?
It seems like most all of them link to dangerous sites & I'm affraid that the people that come to my site might click on them by mistake because a lot of them are rather missleading & it might even reflect back on my site.
Can't forumotion police the advertisers they use?

Is this message appearing when you go to your forum, or when you press the ad?

The only way to remove advertisement, is by getting credits and spendinh on Ads. ACP >> Midc >> ADS

I would also warn members to not press ads by posting a thread about it.

If ya read I was not asking how to remove the ads, I think most everbody knows how to do that.
What I'm saying is couldn't forumotion find better ads to run than ones that are deceptive & might even cause damage to your pc?
It reflects back bad on forumotion & on your web site if people click on those harmful links.
Surely forumotion wouldn't want to be thought of as being in cahoots with them & putting a thread warning people not to click on them will do little good in most cases.

    Hello,

Forumotion doesn't have control to any of the displayed ads by Google, however, if you can report a malicious ads(pornographic ads and the likes) with the screenshot and send the request to a pro administrator.
