Forum not working on Apple devices
HELP, I have a major issue with my forum www.vxrgroup.com
Forum loads fine on a laptop or pc, it used to work fine on desktop (classic) view on an iphone and ipad, now when you connect you can only see half the screen and it will not scroll down, it started yesterday not just myself but all other members and users are getting the same issue, any help would be great, nothing on the admin panel has been changed to cause this it has just happend all of a sudden?

Re: Forum not working on Apple devices
all
I am also having this issue since yesterday, but thought it was just me, so rebooted my phone and everything but nothing changed.
When trying to scroll and take screenshot it goes back to how it looks once logged in:

So I took another screenshot with my android (sorry for the quality) arrow points to how it looks when trying to scroll down the page on the iphone (even signing in is a task withing itself):

Yep mines exactly the same, still doing it, get half screen and cant scroll down, all users of the forum using an apple device are getting the prob, pc or laptop are fine, even tried using different browsers on devices with same problem, must be something to do with the servers or something, glad its not just me!

Re: Forum not working on Apple devices
Sorry Rideem, not sure what you mean by id. But in my particular case, I had it bookmarked since I created the forum and it was working fine till yesterday. And when I do type in the url I do as always, I just typing in http://"my forum address". As I did the first time to make the bookmarkThis happens usually if you specify an ID in the URL. What is the URL where this happens?
My apologies if this is not what your asking.

Exactly the same here, had it bookmarked, even if I type in my forum address http://www.vxrgroup.com still has same problems, not just me but any of my members, also started doing this yesterday.

Yes, I am experiencing the same...
The site just won't scroll on the iPhone. when you scroll you get the iphone background.
and on my iPad it's worse...
It's almost like the layout of the website has been altered on the iPad. You can do anything.

I am admin on ngolio site www.vxrgroup.com and am experiencing the same problems on my iPhone and iPad.
Here are screen shots.
If I try to scroll and navigate the page, the iPad background goes over the forum.
The site works fine from the laptop and as others have said, I have had the site bookmarked from day 1 so nothing has changed with the URL.

Re: Forum not working on Apple devices
Hmm.. I am now starting to wonder.. could it be related to phone or pad versions/generations or whatever its called.. I mean since the new iPhone is being released.
I know I might just be reaching here, but I just don't understand how Rideem's iPhone has no issues and ours does. I still can't do anything through the phone, only with laptop or desktop

Re: Forum not working on Apple devices
Bit of an update,
Some members are saying that they get the homepage fine but as soon as they log in the site goes all weird.
This may be why rideem can see the site as working fine.

Rideem3 wrote:I'm browsing through an iPhone 5. I'm not sure if this is a generation issue since it worked before on the previous generations.
Anyway, I'll report this to a pro admin since multiple users are experiencing it.
Thank you,
I am using ios6 on iPad 3 and iPhone 4.
Hopefully a fix will be found soon as the iPad is my main access.

Re: Forum not working on Apple devices
Please mark as Solved
Issue was with a built in seamless audio player we had installed as a widget.
For some reason it was trying to load on i-devices, its always been there and never had any issues since thursday.
I have removed the player and all seems to be fine again.
Thanks for all feedback regarding the issue.
