Changing Administration/Founder

Hello,

I created a forum a while ago and made another person admin with me. Now, I am leaving my position as admin and want this person to remain with full rights. We are both currently admin and I tried to delete my account, but it wouldn't let me. I then tried to leave the admin group and it also didn't work. I read on the forum that I have to close my account, but if it doesn't work through deletion, how else can I go about doing this? Thanks for any help.

Yes, I read through that when I found a similar topic. From what is written on the link you posted, I have to delete all comments and topics I created as founder? That seems like a lot of hoops to jump through in order to remove myself as admin, especially when 50% of my comments are directly related to important discussions. Also, when I went to the Founder Tools, I could not put the email of the second administrator, because it states that the address is in use on another forum, which has no relation to the one we are using.

It means the email that you tried adding is already used to create another forumotion forum. You can use a single creation email for a single forum.

I am leaving as admin because I cannot put more time into the forum, so I can't go around deleting all my comments and topics, especially considering that it would leave more holes in the forum than in Swiss cheese xD Thank for the help though.
