Changing founder and admin account

Hi,

I'm trying to pass my founder account to someone else but I'm having some issues and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

1. I've added that person to the admin group (it's just 2 of us)
2. I've changed the email address here https://www.forumotion.com/utils and gave her the password

In admin panel though I'm still the only one who can make payments and I'm the 'administrators' group moderator which I can not change. Not sure where to go from here.

Hello @Liv the way to make them founder if you yourself are doing it is very simple, you have to give them your account meaning user number 1. And if you want you can take their account. So basically swap accounts on the forum itself. The founder tools are good too but for the actual forum account you need to do that.

If I do that, change email address in my profile and give that person my password - what would happen to my posts? Wouldn't everything I wrote be renamed (assuming that person will change the username)?

Your posts will remain on the forum. But the name of the account would make it look like the new person that takes your account made those posts.
