    Solved Private Message, Profile buttons (and any other) in Profile / how to get rid of the boarder under the posts?

    Hi guys, i have a phpBB2 forum. I just dont like the boarder under the posts, you know, the one that has the profile button, pm button, msn button and so on...

    Is there any way to get rid of this boarder and put all these buttons in the profile in posts (on the left site...you know) under the avatar and the data of the user? (Posts, Reputation, date of registration) <- i want the buttons under that like in phpBB3.

    Any chance to get this?

    Go to ACP>DISPLAY>GENERAL>VIEWTOPIC_BODY

    Thus giving a "dummy" table that uses "dummy" margin-top basically. Giving the illusion that there is space in between each post.

    To follow through with this code you must have basic concept of HTML. If you don't that is ok, I just would have needed to have been told. For I'm sure it's something silly. like not place line breaks in <br />

    Ok so that is probably my fault I believe the reason for distortion is the <table> tags. So delete the table tags and you should be fine. For it to work properly make sure to add the CSS I gave as well. or inline style the TD like so

    Now in the Topic Header where it says "Jump to site : 1, 2, 3 ... 9 ... 17"

    That thing came to the middle (centered) before our surgery it was right sided.

    Also the polls are now left sided, I think there is something going wrong...

    first issue I believe would be

    second issue is an IDK lol. Um Im looking at it in Chrome and it is centered nicely. What browser are you using?

    align="center" but that didnt help... the text goes a little bit to the left, actually to the center of the boarder but the boarder is actually cut from the middle to the right. Before, it was all from left to right...

    ok well I can see the issues now in FF. Not in chrome Smile So we must find a fix for FF only. So it does not screw up any users in Chrome.

    Im sorry, wont happen again.

    Edit:

    I fixed the "Jump to site" problem. It was colspan="2" I changed the value to colspan="4" and its ok like it was before.

    Still trying to figure out how to implement the poll, for what is in the templates is

    {poll_displayed} or something like that, resulting in no hardcode to edit. I'll figure that out


    EDIT:

    Ok so where we can edit the following polls is in ACP>DISPLAY>PORTAL>VIEW_POLLRESULTS and POLL QUESTION

    In the results look for something that says colspan="2" change it to 4. Let me know the results. Then we will need to look at another poll to before answering so we can change that as well

    Actually colspan="4" resulted in a horizontal scrollbar. colspan="3" made the job.

    Your code didnt work, the text was centered but the boarder wasn't all to the right...

    colspan="4" for the polls.
    style="text-align:center;" for the bottom bit. I edited the code via FF and Chrome together and it worked. So maybe not editing the right coding
