I need an administrators help please forumotion sent me a delete forum message

Our forum received this message. Its the first time we have received anything like it before. Could you help me understand what I need to change please. Thanks in advance for your help.

So how do we know when we have met the criteria? Will someone send us a message. Also does this mean someone reported us or what?

No you may have posted something illegal in the forum, that isn't allowed. Can be the following: Pornography, illegal downloading, and hacking.

They had a hot girls thread up but it was deleted when I went to look at it to see if that was it. So man I really dont know. I have 2 admins going through our site right now and I have already gone through it.

So is there any way someone could help me out and check it out and tell me what to get rid of?

Rideem is there no records of complaints that could help me out what to look for. There are a ton of threads to look through. It would take a month to go through them all.

Exactly, what just Rideem3 said. Once it hits the day, they told you (01-11-2012) and they don't find anything that breaks the terms of services, then they won't delete you forum. Can you please provide your forum link?

What content was recently added as soon as you got this message?

Im not sure. There was hardly any activity over the last couple of days. I really dont know what was the issue. Does forumotion not let Admins of forums know what the issue is? How are we to know what to fix if they dont tell us?

Are avatars/signature pictures screened by forumotion? Also, who is this darkgoku user? I see him on this forum and he just joined our forum today.

If the embed code was on youtube, then no, that can't be it.

The reason why they don't delete the forum on the spot is out of gratuity. Their allowing you to fulfill your administration responsibilities to find the problem.

Just read the Terms of Service, then delete whatever content that breaks it.

I apologize for the multiple posts but this issue is a time-sensitive issue. We appreciate the opportunity to rectify the situation but it is very frustrating to receive a message out of the blue about a violation following no recent activity on our board. It at least makes me feel like we have to read through every post, check every avatar, and accuse every user. It's like my favorite error message of "object reference not set to an instance of an object." I feel like it would be mutually beneficial to alert admins of the instances of the violations vs just saying a violation exists. I'm sorry if this sounds like an attack because I'm sure this is a policy set by someone else but I felt like I needed to voice the frustration.

U will not be notified if its fixed u will know when ur forum is deleted

The EDIT button can be used, the reason why this isn't allowed is because there are also others that might get annoyed that they're topics are going down, the support forum is as hectic as you can see that we need to provide others support too.

So we will never know if our forum is in compliance until they delete it?

No sorry, you will need to find for the content/criteria you violated, you have been warned about this even before you made your forum, that is when you have agreed with when you decided to create it(the TOS).

Do you not think that this is frustrating? I mean we are having to go through every thread and post in the forum to find a violation that forumotion says we have but wont tell us what it is. LOL Wouldnt it be easier for them to tell us what we violated? Then we could fix it fast instead of us having to beg for help on this forum?

Well this is not our fault and that is your responsibility, you should have had your forum moderated a lot by your staff members and have them know of what is not allowed and which violates the TOS.

And our pro administrator is handling a lot of support requests too so we can't just drag her to get here and look into your forum as that would also be hectic.

And also, it's the litigation team of Forumotion that gives this warning to you and not any of our administrators here and we don't have any communication ongoing with them.

We have had it moderated but it is a low traffic forum among friends for fun. I wouldn't classify anyone as "staff". If it was a recent violation it probably would be easier to rectify but that does not appear to be the case. I hope it does not appear we are attacking you specifically because I know others usually make the decisions. We are all rather busy with our own jobs so I believe this will probably be our last week here. I've enjoyed it but am frustrated with this possible ending.

What a ridiculous state of affairs! Forumotion Litigation should be informing that forum of which terms were violated, and by which post, as they very obviously have seen it or the warning would not have been sent! Is there a way for Ubeeg9Cats to contact "litigation", to discover which post violated the TOS?

EXACTLY. I dont understand why we can not get any help with this problem. This forum is over 2 years old and we haven't had any problems until now.
