Problems with code (Accordion)

I stumbled across the jQuery Accordion image transition tutorial: https://help.forumotion.com/t105962-index-in-accordion

It was exactly what I was looking for. I implemented the code as per the instructions, but instead of the accordion view, I only see code in my homepage message. For reference, my site is here (still under construction, please don't mind the emptiness): http://unpluggedgaming.userboard.net/

I went through to make sure I had everything plugged in correctly, and I can't seem to figure out what I've done wrong.

I have Javascript Management enabled, as well as two separate Javascript pages both applying to the homepage.

I have HTML enabled via ACP>General>Messages & Emails>Allow HTML as well as through my profile.

I have the CSS code pasted verbatim (albeit image links) at the top of my CSS Stylesheet (I also tried below the existing code). The options for the CSS are: Deactivate the basic CSS: No and Optimize your CSS: No

When I submit all of this and view my homepage, it displays the code pasted in the homepage message.

I searched around for quite some time, but was unable to find anyone else with this problem.

Hit this & then add the code.
