Post by guruji January 7th 2013, 5:00 pm

Hello Team,

Moderator users do not delete or edit topics. is this possible?

If Not possible, How to recover deleted topics? (OR) How to backup forum database?

Kindly reply me.

Warm Regards
Sreeram

(1) As APE said, there is no way to stop moderators from editing or deleting threads.
(2) Forumotion does not have a feature built in to recover deleted threads. Personally, what I do for my sites is I have an archives board that only admins can access, and instead of deleting the thread, I move it to the archive, which does the trick. Smile
(3) Forumotion does not hand out backups of their databases, and I've never heard of them doing so by request either. There is currently no way to download a backup of your forum, unfortunately.
