Chatbox in colum 1

Hey. I've had a chatbox on the top, and at the bottom. But I'd rather prefer it in the left colum (colum 1).
But when I put the widget in the colum, the colum is too small. I know you can add the amount of pixels to make it wider, but that's just weird.
Isn't there a method so I can just get a small chatbox without 'whose online' or something. Small enough to fit in 250-300 px?

Well this doesn't edit the original chatbox, but it's something what I was looking for. So thanks allready Smile

Also is there a possible way to edit this white background color (seems to be fixed in the widget)

The white background color should be changed from where you got the shoutbox. Just google shoutbox, you will get a variety of websites offering various colors/types of shoutboxes.
