Option 3 can't be added on Forumotion.
Option 2: Just get the meta code & add it to the General>Forum>Configuration

Hello there i know i can help you here.
The thread gave to you is right but it misses one little part out about adding the codes
If you look at your code it will have <meta name="msvalidate.01" content="94E73796FB53C56E82214950DA6FC999"/>

This is part of your code from the screen shot you gave us.

If you look it has " then the numbers and text you need to remove them and just add this part
So Go to

STEP 1
ACP General Tab

Forum promotion Search engines go to Additional tags
ok now click on the now your asked what you want to add

STEP 2
pick meta tags then select >> now you should have 2 boxes come up.

In the 1st box "name" attribute put this code in the box

Code:

msvalidate.01

and nothing Else.

In the 2nd box "content" attribute put this code

Code:

94E73796FB53C56E82214950DA6FC999

and nothing else then save

Then your need to go to your bing tools and your need to verify your site.
Follow the steps again for Google and any others you may want to add.
