How do set up admins and mods?

I already set up a friend as a fellow admin but he can't get access to the admin panel. Have I done something wrong there or not done something I need too.

Also, I want to create two mods but can't find how to do that and I have forgotten how I set my friend as and admin too!!

Any help would be appreciated.

Administration Panel > Users & Usergroups > Groups Administration
Press the Administrators group.
Scroll to the bottom and add your friend.
Press save.

Just one thing:

The 'admin' shows in his posts as being an admin but not the mods. How do I get it to show they'e admins in their posts?

You have to create the rank:
Administration Panel > Users & Usergroups > Ranks
Create the moderator rank.

Then you will have to add the rank to each member that is a moderator.
