No we do not have any kind of access in seeing your Private Messages, that's why its called, Private Messages, mate. Neither any admins can't access it via Admin Panel.

    Does that answer you question?

Thanks for replying, but I kind of know that ...

what I want to ask is, lets say, the owner or system technical staff of forumotion, do they have access to the PM boxes(private messages) of all the individual forums ?

Ah, that I don't know. We would have to wait until an Administrator sees this. I think the Technicians have access to this, although they aren't going to go through every single message to see whats going around in any forum.

Is there an issue with some members on your forum?

    Hello,

I can ask our pro-admin for confirmation if you would like me to. Although they probably might be able to, I extremely doubt they would because not only is it an invasion of privacy and illegal, it is also highly immoral.

Your private messages cannot be read by moderators and admins on forums. I can say with confidence that your messages are private and will stay private. Smile

Forumotion is a very large forum host, so I don't think they would really have a reason to check the private messages of all of their forums. I'm sure that a technician technically could see them by going into your forum's specific database, finding the tables where the PMs are, then going through thousands of records to find a specific record, and pulling it directly out of there, but that's way more work than it's worth. Razz Even a clean install of phpBB3 does not give a way in the ACP for admins to read PMs, so your PMs probably aren't just sitting there for display.

I think it's fair to say that, beyond reasonable doubt, your PMs are probably kept private. Smile

Yes. I believe the Techs do have access to PMs, but only because they are the ones creating the systems, and there is no way they have time to go through 100`s of 1000`s of PMs.

Pretty much, but won't since Base said above:
