I have a big problem.
A user signed up on my forum, and it worked, but 1 minute later one of my other friend also wanted to sign up, and he tried, but all the names he tried was taken..
And on the forum it just was 3 user signed up!

What's the problem..

Try changing the Unauthorize subscriptions made with the most commonly used spam usernames. option to no.

ACP>General>Security

it didnt help..

What usernames is this friend trying to use?

Gaming, Silver and champion.
But my other friend have signed up, but it doesnt work til log in.

Wait, so they registered but can't log in? Is that what you're saying?

Is his account activated?

How do I check that?

ACP>Users & Groups>Inactive Users

If the account name is there it's inactive and you can activate it from there.

Also,

To avoid this in future check to see if you have asked to enable manual registration e.g. admin must activate the account.

If you go ACP-->Users and groups--> User Options-->New Accounts and check this option and choose your preferred method, you can choose from Admin, which is yourself enabling them, Automatic, which is they can sign in the second they've registered or user, which is they've got to open an activation code via email.
