Changing the colour of links
I've tried to work this out myself but with the end result that I totally messed up the forum colours and had to put everything right again! What I'm after is ... how can you specify a different colour for links in a posting - for example, if I wanted to post a shortened link in my message to another site I'd say click HERE - and the here would be the link however unfortunately in my forum the colour of the links is exactly the same as my text colour and links aren't at all obvious and are easily missed. Ideally I'd like to change these links to be a bright colour (so they'd stand out more from the main text) or alternatively underline them. When I changed the link colours in administration all sorts of other links in the main forum changed colour also and looked dreadful - I'm really only after a way to colourise or underline links within threads.
I'd really appreciate any help at all on this - many thanks in advance

Hi, thanks for replying. I'd like to do this for all links that are placed within postings - I don't want the change to affect any other links in the forum if possible.

Re: Changing the colour of links
Go to Admin Panel >> Styles >> Pictures and Colors >> Colors and then change the "Link Color".
This will effect all links in your forum, meaning any text that is clickable.

Skittlespc - thanks for your reply but I've already fiddled with all those settings and completely sodded up the look of the forum - as mentioned above, I want to know if there is a way to alter the links within postings only. .

No not to my knowledge. That is the only way I have been able to find to change the links within the post.

Re: Changing the colour of links
If the colours of the links within postings cannot be changed, can the text be made bold or underlined?

Re: Changing the colour of links
Do you mean the text in general or only the links within posts?
Also, now that I see this revived thread: Meanwhile I learned one or two things about CSS and there is actually a way how you can change the links within posts - with some custom CSS! Put the code below in "Styles / Colors / CSS Stylesheet", change the color code to what you need and click submit.

- Code:
.postbody .content a:link{color:#ff0000}

I would like to make my links within posts underlined and bold if possible. Can this be done with CSS code? Thank you.
