This is my first time doing this so please bear with me.

I have gotten a unique domain name for my forum, and have paid to remove forumotion ads on it.
In addition, I have a confirmed adsense account from which I have code that I copy-pasted into the "Homepage Message".

The ad bar is blank (as expected), because it takes a few days for google crawlers to find and approve my ad placement and start feeding ads. I have waited for 3 days, and would just like to know if this is all I needed to do so I do not waste time waiting.

I think there is a problem with the ads. Why don't you try creating new ads from the google website?

Try simple text ads first as well.
You may want to add it to your announcement too.
That way it will be on every page for guest to see as we'll .

Remember to never more then one add on a page as well.
