Is there anyway that when a member hits the "post reply" button the title of the post is automatically placed in the Post title blank area?
Im worried members will think they need to put in a title when i would like the title to already be there once someone has created a new thread?

I dont get it sorry? if someone starts a thread and they hit reply to answer why would we need to change the title? I would like the title to slip straight into that space as an automatic thing so they just reply in the comment box without replying?

Well, if someone else who is replying wants a different title to his post. Its for them to change it.

You cannot leave title of the topic empty. But, if you leave Post Title empty, it takes up the Title of the Topic.

Yes I do. Sorry I am use to being on forums but not doing my own? Im sorry im green. I am glad though I have got one up and running with members its just tweeking it.

Yes its the Post title Im talking about. On the other forum I go on , there Post Title automatically slots in there so members just type in the comment box.
My forum ( weloveblythe.com.au) doesnt take up the Post Title at the moment it always shows a white blank space. Have I clicked something off the settings so it does this?

I don't know which other forum you have seen. However, on Forumotion its supposed to work this way.

The other forum you saw might not be a Forumotion forum so it's showing a different system.

Yes it is. But it will take the title of the topic if you leave it blank.
