How do I create an automatic message to new members?

I need some help with coding, I'd like to have a code (Since I'm pretty sure it's a code) to make an automatic message to new members (sends on registration or registration activation) I've looked on Google and there is different solutions but for different versions of different sites and I was hoping that someone here that uses Forumotion and not any other free forum site might have a solution, I'm sure you'd know what I'm talking about, I'd just be able to send a private message to the user without having to do it manually then once the user logs in he'll/she'll see it as if I sent it manually, I'd fill it with about a paragraph or so, welcoming them to the site and such.

Do you mean private message?

Administration Panel > General > Message & Emails > Private Messages
Allow welcome private message: Yes
Message subject:
Welcome private message *:
Welcome message sender:

GAH! Why is all this stuff right under my nose though I never seem to find it when I need to!
