Editing Post Flood Control on help.forumotion
The flood control is supposed to prevent spamming. Why when I edit a post do I get the flood control warning? It is a bit of a annoyance when I go to edit in "solved" after posting a final comment on a topic. Before I get any of you saying I should just live with it, I'll say if this is how it has to be, I'll just live with it. I just don't see how editing a topic is considered flooding...

Flood control is set to 50 seconds on the support forum to avoid spamming.
Simple, explanation why editing posts is also considered under flood control.
Suppose, i make 50 posts with normal content. All is great, then the user starts editing those 50 posts with spam/porn content. OMG, that would be too much to handle
Thats the answer to your query.
