As of recently, my forum is experiencing some big problems. A member cannot post or reply, or pretty much anything other than go in the chatbox or send PMs. And new members cannot join as well for some reason. I've tried everything, and the permissions seem in check, but something is certainly wrong and I don't know what to do. She said that when she tries to post she gets a message saying "Sorry, but only Administrators can post topics in this forum." Help me please.

Do you have your forum set to Holiday mode by any chance?
ACP --> General --> Configuration --> Holiday Mode --> off --> Save

Actually, I did, but I don't even know how that happened. I guess a fellow Admin did that by accident. Thanks, and I'll keep that tutorial.

It can sometimes be changing a setting and it has a knock on effect.
I don't know why that happened. The important thing now is that it's solved.
