problems with replying to a post

Description of problem

so i logged out to test my forum  to test my forum. i tried to reply to a topic and it says "PERMISSIONS IN THIS FORUM:
You cannot reply to topics in this forum" what does this mean ? how can i change the settings so i can? thank you for you time

If you mean you want a part of your forum to be open to gusts to post in then you need to follow this step.

ACP >> General Tab >>   Forum >> Categories and forums In Advanced Mode Click on the   That is inline to the one forum you want to let guests post in now you need scroll down the page until you see this

Tick the Guests setting in what i marked in yellow and save

Now Guests can Post in your forum

Go to General > Categories and forums > Settings (on a forum) > Permissions > Advanced
