Add extra groups and make it so some groups can create posts but not threads.

How do you make it so some groups can create posts but not threads?
In the Forum Permissions Control for each section, there's a place that says "Write topics or messages". How do I get it so that the groups can write messages but not topics?
Also, how do you create extra groups and put restrictions on them? To slow down the rate of spam, I'd like to create a "Baby" group, and have it so that group can post in places but can't make topics anywhere. Once a Baby has 12 posts, I'd like them to turn into a normal member.
Are either of these things possible?

When you're on the permissions page for a forum click advanced and you'll see options to allow disallow thread creation but allow posting.

Second of all,

To create groups go ACP--> Users and Groups --> Group Administration --> Create group.

Which option is create a topic? Is it "Open a topic"?

Also, I see how to create a group, but how do I make it so members automatically go in that group when they join? And how do I make it so that after a certain number of posts, you change groups?

Come on group edit, in administration panel.

You will see "Group auto-subscribe" choose it, and you will get place for number of posts to get in group. Writte number of posts and that's all.


Permissions: And yes, for create topic it is "Open topic".
