DDoS of our forum?

I have had the same person register for our forum 4 times in the last 24 hours and I deleted his account and banned his e-mail address each time. He has joined again and said he could have DDoSed us without even joining. Is this possible on a Forumotion forum?

Hello The Lone Ranger,

That is not possible on forumotion given the request limit. After a few many requests that user would hit the request limit and be unable to access your forum for a set period of time, while everyone else could still access it.

Thanks SethC1995. The thing is he is using dynamic IP addresses, different each time, and changing his e-mail address each time so he won't be picked up by a "request limit". He also says he can set up 1,000 e-mail addresses in 5 minutes. Do I need to start worrying here?

It sounds a bit farfetched to me, but I believe your forum should be fine.
