can't send a pm to fix password problem

i'm pretty sure am typing the password correctly but it still says it's incorrect. I decided it would be easier just to create a new pw but i get another message: The security 'Disallow admin to send new password' is active in Admin Panel > General Admin > Security
i can't pm anyone here because i've just joined. Can one of the admins send me a pm?
