Thinking of buying credits.

Okay so I recently thought in about buying creds for my forum. But my problem/concern is if I buy the credits, (thing like storage) Is it a one payment example:

I buy 250 mb Do I get that forever or is it some monthly thing?

Well if you buy a domain name you'll have it for one year with the option to renew if you wish.
If you buy ad removal it will be for the time you choose, you can have anywhere for 1 month to a year.
If you buy storage space, whatever is left over at the end of the month will be deleted.

Okay then thanks. I'll just stick with buying the domain. So another question is what if I already pre own the domain? Do I still need to pay the credits to transfer or no?
