Problem with HTML Codes

Hi guys i need help because when i add html codes to my site they dont work what should i do .
Html is enabled in my profile.

make sure it is enabled in admin>>>users and groups>>>user settings too

its not available there its not shown i tried

what should i do

be sure you have "advanced" enabled in your admin panel (not simple).

it is advanced

then the option must at the place where zinex pointed you already to - "Users&Groups/Users/User settings". scroll down and there will be an entry that reads "always allow html".

i checked that and its pointed to yes dont know why html codes arent working :S

make sure you are not on the WYSIWYG editor, when in quick reply or post new topic page, click the A/a button to the top right of it and try again.

btw the html is not working in the header of the forum

What exactly isnt working? Perhaps its just the code itself?..That would be my guess. I've come across codes that when initially loaded show up as nothing, because the coding was wrong html format. If possible could you post the code?

i tried 4 codes nothing happened

where are you trying this codes? if you do that always in the same post with editing, this post might be not allow html (maybe it was created before you allowed html in admin panel or profile). Check this post by editing and looking in the options below (eventually you have to expand the options menu by clicking on the "+" icon). you will find an option "Disable HTML in this post" that you can uncheck.

no i tried the codes in the portal and one the forums header nothing happened.
