    Dear members,

    Always concerned about its members' requests, Forumotion is happy to announce a new update that will help your forum to perform SEO.
    1. What is it exactly?

    Today, SEO on Google is greatly influenced by social network activity ("Like", page shared, Twitter, Google+...).
    Up to now, an Admin could only link her/his forum to Facebook.
    We have decided to update this option and implement the Google+ link. Right now, an admin can also connect her/his forum to a Google+ page! :wouhou:

    In fact, if you created a Google+ page for your forum, we strongly recommend for you to link your forum to this page. This link between your forum and Google+ page will allow you to build a strong relationship with friends, followers, and forum members. Moreover, you will provide relevant information to Google and improve your Google search ranking. In addition, your forum can benefit from Google+ Direct Access.
    Therefore, with this new Forumotion feature, users can have an easy access to your forum content and share it with their contacts. It will guarantee an optimal visibility on the web:

    2. How to use this new option:

    This new option is very easy to set up without any technical skills and directly through your admin panel

    Here the previous button:

    This new option     is available through the administrative panel: Modules> Social Network> Google+:

    1- Enter modules section
    2- Social network> Google+
    3- Activate Google+ option and enter your Google+ link
    4- Submit

    You can remove the link between your forum and your Google+ page just by clicking cross:

    Always nice to see updates, but you should focus on more important things - automatic points shop, no post count in specific subforum etc.

    That is what you believe is important. Everyone has a different idea about what is consider an important update. There is a suggestion that deals with this, so one member will be happy.

    I think getting your forums to be more out there and getting more members is more important than a point shop and removing the post count for one or more forum's.

    I think FM are thinking of us all when they bring this sort of new updates out for us.
    After all we all want more new ways to get more members in our sites Don't we ??
