    Hi everyone,

    I'm new to forum administration, I'd like my forum to be private, and to choose who would participate, after registering.

    How can I do that?

    Hello Mike64,

    First you must change the viewing permissions of each forum :
    Administration panel > general > forum > categories and forums > edit the permissions of each forum Perms

    Remove all the permissions for guests and save :
    Want my forum to be closed, private, and to approve new members after they register Captu390

    Then navigate to :
    Users and groups > special rights

    Change all the rights to members and save.
    Want my forum to be closed, private, and to approve new members after they register Captu391

    To change the registration :
    Users and groups > Users > user options

    Change new accounts activation to admin and save.
    Want my forum to be closed, private, and to approve new members after they register Captu392
