    Solved Problems with language in newsletter

    Post by Procella Sat 12 Apr 2014 - 21:47

    Hello dear Admins/Mods/Managers/Etc.

    I need a bit of help!

    I've just sent out a newsletter to our members. The page is set to be on Danish. However! The stuff about how to contact Admins etc. is in...french?

      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ce mail vous a été envoyé par {FROM_USERNAME} via son compte sur . Si ce message est un spam ou que son contenu est abusif ou offensant, veuillez contacter le webmaster du forum à l'adresse suivante : A-email removed Incluez cet email complet (particulièrement les en-têtes).
    Now, allot of our members might understand english, but they SURELY don't understand french. We don't really get how and why the text changed itself to french, or how to get it changed BACK - I've just been in there. The forum is supposed to be on Danish.
    So I really need some help understanding and fixing this. I'm not the tech-head on our team, but I *am* the one not wanting this french-thing to haunt us any longer Wink
    So, thanks upfront you guys!
    Best regards from Denmark!
    Is this happening on all emails or just some of the members?
    Yes. All the emails. we don't know why this have happened. It was english at first. Then changed to danish (which we LOVED) - but now it have been french for several months. The Admin-team is experiencing it for sure. And at least 4 users.
    (we are having weekend and upcoming holidays so the activity is kinda low but I *did* sent out a ping on who where having this problem)
    Hello,
    The email was removed for your safety, remember not to post your email address on public as it may get stolen.
    Is this included on the bottom of the message when you send a newsletter to your members?
    Oh yeah thanks  Embarassed
    And no the text is not something *we* add. It's auto-something that gets added. It's something about how to not get emails if it's "junk" or something like that, and how to contact admins if needed, I think.
