Photobucket Video player code problems.

Hi. Let me begin by saying I am completely new. I gave up on several forum sites because I can't really do code, and I really like this one because of the ease of modification, so thanks.

Now my problem is with the Photobucket Video player. I have taken what I could find from searching this site and the embed code that is supplied with your videos at Photobucket to come up with a way to post them, but I can't get the size to change (it's shows up as very small) and I have to leave code showing in my post. The strange thing is the video shows and plays in the preview but not when you post it. Anyway, here is what I did:

So, after playing with it for several hours, I finally found a way to make the video show up, by cutting this out of the embed code from Photobucket:

And using this as the URL in the in the [flash(width,height)]url[/flash] code. Along with this (for the video to actually play) I have to also add the entire embed code below it, so my entire post looks like this:

Now, you can see that I asked it to be (500,400) but if you go and look at it, it shows up very small, and there is a lot of visible code on the page.

If you can help me to 1. Resize the player/video bigger, and 2. make the visable code disappear, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, through searching this forum, I have found several people asking for a way to add Photobucket videos, but nobody was able to help them, maybe by modifying what I have done you can make a new tag (Like the Youtube tag) to easily add Photobucket videos, that would be awesome too.

In a complete accident, just a couple minutes after I posted, I have found the missing link and proble, and been able to resize my videos to the size I wanted.

In the [flash(width,height)] url[/flash] code, I had this:

At the end of that URL was this:(.flv">) but by deleting the (>) so it is (.flv") it works. It still requires the above code AND the entire embed code from Photobucket to be posted (and the embed code is visible), but my Video is the right size.

I hop you guys can take this and maybe turn it in to an easier tag for others to use for Photobucket videos. And I am sorry for making a post for help then immediately figuring it out . I just hope maybe my messing around with it can help some other users who may want Photobucket vids on their page, and it would still be nice if someone could help me make the visible embed code go away.

I had problems getting a photobucket slideshow to work in my forum, but I found by adding a couple of blank lines or even some lines with text before the embed code then it works fine.

first off photobucket is known for there lagggg its not good to use that site for swf as its a bit of a hog. imageshack has been having some issues from server problems this last month so what i recomend for swf is http://www.filefrog.net/ theres no lagg no known issues for flash that im aware of and it loads fast from there server with no issues. i only skimmed through your post so if im not reading it correct pm me or post back the issue. good luck,, and if you need any help with flash or animation or banners or anything im willing to throw in a helping hand with some details.
