No Confirmation E-Mail Sent Empty No Confirmation E-Mail Sent

Post by Clint M. March 2nd 2008, 6:51 pm

This has been an ongoing problem which has struck over half of my forum's members.

When registering, they recieve no e-mail to confirm their account. Over half the time, and every times I log in, I have to go into my Admin Panel and manually activate their waiting accounts. Thus, they are a bit discouraged to trust the quality of my forum.

Is there a way to fix this?

Yes, most of my member's accounts use Yahoo E-Mails but something should be done to fix---or work toward fixing---the problem with it.

You can set it so you have to active their accounts.

It feels like that already.

I don't want to have to activate everyone's account every time. It's not a private forum, most everyone is welcome.

alright, on most boards you just have to have it set for the activation email or most times they just get it into their spam folder.

Isn't there a way that they can register and then just... Log in?

I've seen it on other forums, but was it just that it might not of been Forumotion boards?

I have the same problem over and over again ... I think this a big error in the whole forumotion system and it should be fixed as soon as possible ...
many members do not get any registration mail and there should be an option that users can register without a account activation !
