Your directory points increase for example when deleting members or posts.

Is that why i have no points at all?I have over 27026 messages and 406 tops. 103 members. I have recently had to delete abunch of threads. A member got deleted but came back.

Is there away to get rid of the Pruning????

To deactivate the auto-pruning of a forum, go to "Forum / Management" and set the "autopruning-enabled" option to No. Also, you wont have any points if you are not participating in site directory. Be sure you have selected a category in "General / Homepage / Configuration" and that you have set "Participate" to yes.

okay thank you that helps. i added a domain name awhile back and it didn't give me the 1600 points. is there maybe something that i did wrong?
and with the pruning, does that mean i have to pick a category every 60 days for when i want threads moved to the basket? and does that move them automatically or do i need to do that? if i don't then i can tell my moderator's not to delete threads right? i know im asking alot of questions i just want to make sure im understanding this correctly and given my mods the right information. you guys have been a great help to me, thank you

I have autopruning enabled from frst day but I lose many points and I don t delete any forum or posts

its not just forums and posts it depends on how many members you gain and have, and how active they are.
