Multiple registered user

Hello

Is there a Forumotion ruling about users registering multiple usernames? I would like one username per member and would like to incorporate it into my rules.

I'm aware it's possible there maybe more than one user in the household under the same IP address however for those instances where I believe it's the same user, I'd like clarification on the policy, if in fact there is a policy.

I've searched however didn't come up with what I'm looking for.

Are you talking about ForuMotion forum rules? If so, only one account per person can be made.

If you want to make this a rule in your forum, you may do so.

The easiest way to do that is to ask one of the "multiple" members what is going on and why they have the same IP. Furthermore it is your decision if you will keep them both or ban them both. Although registering with the same username won't be possible unless someone deletes the account, which i still think that they will get a message saying that someone else uses that username. Although changing a number to that will register but i don't know any way to block that.
