Recently ads started appearing on the forum's left side (specicially quizonic ads) Registered users are seeing the ads but they should be turned off. We paid credits for 6 months and it only expires in February. What's going on here?

This is not the case, we can see the ads as popups on the left side even if logged in.Â

Horus is correct. The quizonic ads are showing up even for members who are logged in. I'm already aware of the guest vs member difference. There is another problem.

Is this happening to all members? Which devices are the ads appearing on? I have never seen a pop-up ad on my forum.

Are members pressing something for this popup ad to appear?

I don't think so.
I might have identified a potential source, do embeded javascript elements have permissions to display such things on the forum? It can be the chatbox now that I think about it, the only thing we changed recently.

Well third-party JavaScripts and codes could have links to ads.

But popup boxes are just an overkill, I'll investigate the javascript chatbox.
